glad to share new music in this 2024…

Our aim as an indie label is to open as much doors as possible for artists. In this playlist you will find Bunuru’s bouncy beats influenced by congoleese and tuareg vibes, Rizomagic’s tropical futurism meets colombian pacific tradition, Estrellas del Caribe, the real terapia criolla crew 50 years making people dance. El Leopardo semantics of techno meets the mysterious desire of the jungle, Lucas Hill an up and commming singer songwriter with a beautiful love song, last but not least Mucho Indio an amazing work by pioneer Teto Ocampo, paleofuturism at is best!

Bunuru is the hottest part of the summer, and thats how their music sounds like; from spiritual Latin American relaxed tracks to global bass bangers infused with Congolese soukous guitars and North African Tuareg vibes.

In 2019 started this journey between waves, electric guitars and deep soundscapes. A project composed and performed by Fabián Morales, guitarist with a vast experience, founder and director of projects such as La Makina del Karibe and Los Bulldozer, both influenced by African souks and Champeta. He collaborated with Daniel Haaksman and Duke Dumont.

Special guests: Love Lokombé & Lova Lova

Inspired by El Leopardo 2018 tour including Roskilde, Fussion and Sines stages, and with a stelar lineup with Daniel Broderick, Pedro Ojeda, Diana Sanmiguel and Daniel Michel, the poem of ¨la India que erizaba la piel con sus maracas¨ was born. This poem evokes images of power from the moon to the sea, with the roar of the earth and the hum of the maracas. The interpretation of voice and maracas by Diana Sanmiguel (lead voice of the musical project La Perla) are the source of inspiration for the poem by Juan Fernando Chavez that today is adapted to La Marea.

Lucas Hill music streams from Latin American traditions, folk, rock, and pop, reinvented under a contemplative gaze. Hill’s lyrics and music are woven in textures and landscapes, that explore deep and meaningful subjects thru an honest, simple, and clear voice. The Colombian songwriter released his debut album in 2020 which was well-received both at home and abroad

Here a hint of what the next album from this talented singersongwriter will sound like.

Mucho Indio debut album will be available on a special vinyl edition at the earliest as our humble homage to Teto Ocampo.

With percussions, native flutes, accordion, voices, and sequencers he assembles a soundtrack “key to ecology, universal law, and life in community, in communion with nature. Our chords are agreements, the scale is the spiritual guide, the rhythms reveal the mysteries of the world, the traditional chants are the key to enter the new times” in his own words.
